Guidelines
Welcome to Smash Ronpa's test drive! In lieu of a Mock Trial, due to this round's length, we'll be keeping this test drive open until the opening of the game on September 28th. Reserves will be happening on September 18th, and you can use 20 comments (from your character) on the game's application! Otherwise, this TDM is here to help you figure out how/who you might want to play, and can help you get to know some of the players in the upcoming round. Don't feel like you have to apply just because you play on the TDM!
This post is, however, exclusively open to characters who fit the round's character guidelines. In other words - Nintendo characters and other video game characters who have appeared on a Nintendo consoles. Please check out our FAQ for more detail on this, or hit up
1) ARRIVAL
You wake up comfortably enough in a nice-looking, despite the overabundance of pink everywhere. It's well-furnished and decently roomy - there's even a little fireplace in there! The only problem is that even despite the sense of familiarity some might feel, this clearly wasn't the room you went to sleep in the night before.
Welcome the Monobear Training Camp! It may take a few minutes to gather your bearings, but you'll eventually stumble into the wide open world of the camp. If you look hard enough, you might find an odd electronic device somewhere on your person - giving you access to 15 different "student profiles". It's time to figure out just where you've ended up, now isn't it?
2) LIFE IS QUITE ABSURD
By now, you're acquainted with everybody here and you're sloooowlllyyyy growing bored. Bored enough to kill? No. Bored enough to actually try and entertain yourselves in this place? Yes. Yes, you are. Thankfully, this place has plenty of ways to entertain! You might just try to cook something up in the kitchen, play around in the well-stocked arcade, and even a neat little library! There's even a large movie theater, but your enjoyment of that might be hampered by the fact that there's only one movie playing on repeat. At all times. Remember, we're trying to cause despair here.
What some might find creepy, however, is that all the rooms are far bigger than they should be. The layout of this place is...it doesn't make any sense. There are windows and pathways where there shouldn't be, and it seems as though the rooms are almost overlapping each other. Don't think about it for too long.
3) WHAT'S MY MOTIVATION
IT'S MOTIVE DAY! What's going to drive you to kill? Drive you to end of the chain? CONGRATULATIONS, IT'S HAPPENING TODAY. Either nab a motive from any of the previous rounds or invent your own!
4) AND DEATH'S THE FINAL WORD
It was bound to happen eventually. Either you're dying, or someone close to you is about to make it up the great big Warp Pipe in the sky. Either try to get a few last words out before you go, or go off and investigate in the wake of their death.
5) WILDCARD
Who even knows- do whatever you want, man! Unless it's pissing off the headmaster. Don't do that.

[If you ask Daisy what's the best thing in life, she'll totally say competition. There's nothing wrong with competition! When it comes to playing games, she'll totally wipe the floor with you! ...In a completely friendly and non-threatening way. And then we'll all be best friends and have lots of fun together.

What she seems to be playing a lot is a set of racing cabinets, where she's clearly cranking the wheel way too hard and slamming on the gas with her incredible high heels. You don't want to mess with her.]

[But Arcade Games aren't the only thing she's interested in playing. So she goes around the school gathering anything together that might be usable for a game. There needs to be a golf course here. Seriously, we could all use some practice for our swings. She will make one if she has to. There will be nothing glass left in the building.
But because she can't do metalwork yet (she is signed up for it at the Shroom Community College back home), she's found some brooms and taken a piece of paper and thrown it on the floor in a scrunched up ball. Perfect!]
Hey! Let's play some indoor hockey! Come on, it'll be the coolest!
[Of course it will. It's Daisy! Peach's best friend! Who wouldn't want to hang out with her?]

[It's the one time in the week that Daisy is rather quiet. She's not jumping up and down, and she's definitely not as excited as she usually is. In fact, she's rather somber. The motive is a picture from home, with the warning that if she wants to find out what happened to the people in it, she'll need to 'graduate'.
She doesn't hide the picture at all, holding it by her side just enough to show off a glimpse of it. She's not in the mood for adventure or fun today.
She just begins to walk off, trying not to let Monobear's game get to her. Not this time. Not ever.
But it's going to get harder.]

[ Brooms and paper balls aren't exactly what she's expecting when Daisy challenges her to a game, but let it be known that the Princess of the Cosmos has a bit of a competitive side herself. ]

They really need to get some sports stuff in here! I'm thinking a full on arena! There's way too much empty space. We could have the coolest sports things in here, you know?
[While she's so focused on her idea of a killer sports arena, she almost doesn't see the Luma! But don't worry, she's totally spotted it.]

For something called a training camp, it is a little too spacious. ...And coming from someone who lives in, well, space, that's probably saying something. I'm sure we could at least move some furniture around and make some sort of football field. Or maybe we could take some baskets and cutting boards and hang them up for basketball...
[ The Luma seems awfully pleased with the idea, bouncing up and down before the broomstick, apparently trying to find the best way to grab it...it eventually settles on lifting it, but the stick is too long, and it ends up wobbling in its tiny, stubby arms... ]

After this, we should totally find the equipment to set up for basketball! Oh man, even better idea! We should totally make our own dice and try to set up a game of Mario Party!
[MOTIVE TUESDAY IS IN PLACE. But fortunately for the entire group, she gets distracted by the poor Luma with the broomstick.]
Whoa there little guy! I think I have a smaller broom! Then you'll be able to totally try to beat me.
[She moves towards the brooms and pulls out a little dustpan broom.]

Not that he hated her, quite the opposite really. He just felt too darn nervous to say anything when he's around her.
But if they were going to be here for a while, maybe this would be a good time to work up some guts and talk to her more often.

Okay, so here's the deal. It's like hockey, so I'm gonna be the goalie over here! You have to hit the ball past me. If you do, you get a point! If I block it, I get a point. If it's too high or it goes outside of the goal, there are no points.
[The goal is two mop buckets she stole and people are probably looking for, please return them immediately.]
And whoever gets five points first wins! Super easy, right?
